Hi there! My name is Myra Stone. I've recently completed my PhD in Astronomy at The University of Maryland, College Park where I studied how galactic winds impact the formation and evolution of galaxies both near and far.

Prior to my PhD, I was a Research Assistant at The University of Washington. My work there encapsulated a range of galactic objects, including protoplanetary stellar disks, galactic standard stars, and globular star clusters.

I received my B.S. in Physics and Astronomy at The University of Georgia where I studied high-latitude molecular clouds in the Milky Way.

Working as a graduate student, I realized more and more how much I enjoyed programming, working with larger and larger amounts of data, searching for and finding the answers to interesting questions. This naturally led me to Data Science
